WHAT IS THE
blind education foundation?
Imagine navigating a computer
without sight.
It isn’t simple.

Most schoolwork in the US is now digital. But how do you complete schoolwork if you are blind and can’t see a computer screen?

Most school districts in the US do not provide computer instruction for blind students. It is very complicated and teachers are not trained to teach these skills.

The  Blind Education Foundation funds specialized technology classes for blind children so they can learn to access and complete their schoolwork.

The computer skills they learn will allow them to succeed academically and eventually in the workplace.

BEF is one of the family of charities of The Taylor Family Foundation (TTFF), a 501c3 Nonprofit, 5-star guide star charity.
